It’s not always easy being a woman in the 3D printing industry, or indeed any science or technology field. These fields have been traditionally geared towards men, and it’s taken extra work for women to break through. Women have broken through, however, and have been helped by organizations such as Women in 3D Printing, whose purpose is to support and promote women working in the 3D printing industry. Women in 3D Printing was founded at the end of 2014 by Nora Touré, and is growing into a widespread organization reaching women across North America and Europe.
