Earlier this year I wrote about the experience of being a woman in additive manufacturing, particularly at industry events where the gender gap is often at its most evident. In a positive twist, it was great to hear from women, and men, from the industry, speaking of their experiences and more importantly about what more can be done to overcome these issues.

One of those conversations led me to Nora Toure, Founder of Women in 3D Printing, a group dedicated to supporting women in the AM industry. The group, along with fellow female-led organisation Cyant, hosts a series of established industry events called #3DTalk, aimed at bringing together female thought leaders and experts in a panel session setting to discuss a given industry topic.
