International Women’s Day is this Friday, March 8, and Women in 3D Printing ambassadors are hosting events around the world.
Each year, International Women’s Day celebrates the achievements of women. In the 3D printing industry, women make up a minority — but a fast-growing one. Women in 3D Printing (Wi3DP) continues to grow as well, with women and men throughout the world coming together at events and online to share knowledge and expertise.
Celebrating all members of the industry is helping additive manufacturing to become more diverse. Numerous studies have shown the positive impact of a more diverse workforce, as employees from different backgrounds bring different perspectives to the table. As March celebrates women all month and the 8th in particular is a day dedicated to women.
