Content Marketing Manager
SLM Solutions is a leading provider of metal based additive manufacturing technology, commonly referred to as 3D printers, utilizing selective laser melting powder bed fusion technology. Our 3D printers are designed to produce parts directly from a variety of metal powders. The customers for our metal based additive manufacturing systems come from various industries such as aerospace, energy, healthcare, and automotive. Headquartered in Lübeck Germany, SLM Solutions has approximately 420 employees worldwide.
We are looking for a Content Marketing Manager to join our Marketing Team and help tell the story of SLM Solutions. You’ll help uncover our best stories, tease out what sets us apart, and highlight the ways we’re changing manufacturing forever. Along the way, you’ll help us activate new audiences, engage our current followers, generate traffic, and help build the funnel.
In this role, you’ll source, write, edit, and publish new content—and customer-driven content— to help build pipeline at SLM Solutions. You’ll impact every channel and every content type focusing on: competitive positioning, product marketing content like case studies and white papers, to campaign copy and general comms like newsletter and blog. You’ll work with the Director of Marketing to help foster a culture of writing within SLM Solutions, and along the way uncover the stories at the foundation of our brand. This means you believe that everyone can be a writer — with a little help — and are curious enough to dig in and ask questions constantly to understand our solution and the industry we’re changing. You’ll collaborate both internally and externally to write compelling content that helps everyone win, while still sweating the details.
In addition, the Content Marketing Manager will:
Research and respond to industry trends and articles to bring SLM Solutions into the conversation
Write blog, guide, and website copy to help SLM Solutions drive organic growth
Manage an Editorial Calendar
Define and uphold the SLM Solutions editorial tone and voice
Craft sales and marketing email campaigns to nurture leads
Facilitate journey development with content owners
*Role requires no travel and will be remote
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
· Ability to write across multiple mediums: blogs, long-form customer stories, web, email, and social
Self-starter with strong worth ethic and ability to work independently while also knowing when to ask for help
Strong editing and proofreading skills, and a total command of the rules of grammar
Experience working with Sales and Product Marketing
3-5 years experience creating content and link building in a B2B technology company
Effective team player who can lead efforts across disciplines and organizations
