Work with a multi-disciplinary team to develop, validate and manufacture 3D printers and supporting products from concept to production.
Ensure successful project releases to production, including designs, drawings, and specifications; build prototypes for proof-of-concept validation; create and maintain BOM’s; Documentation and release of ECO’s.
Coordinate with key internal stakeholders to successfully create, maintain, communicate, and execute the manufacturing schedule, with a special emphasis on tracking and adherence to deadlines.
Fabricate, assemble, and test prototype assemblies.
Act as a liaison between engineering and manufacturing. Develop and closely track project schedules, driving manufacturing from development through handover to production.
Ensuring suppliers and partners remain on schedule. Comfortable with sourcing and managing supplier relationships.
Ensure results are consistently maintained in JIRA / Confluence.
Maintain revision control and ensure security and fidelity of engineering data. Identify needs with regards to process, tools, and documentation, to optimize efficiency.
Proactively identify risk/opportunities and mitigation with cross-functional teams.
Identify creative ways to overcome obstacles and meet schedules despite setbacks.



Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Manufacturing Engineering (or similar), or evidence of equivalent experience.
2+ years working in a manufacturing environment, in a mix of engineering and project management roles.
Able to communicate and interact with internal Supply Chain and, manufacturer sales representatives, component distributors and, contract manufacturers.
Experience with JIRA (preferred) or other project management tools.
Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other 3D design tools.
Experience in the product development process, including specification, documentation, compliance, revision control, and BOM is a plus.
Experience working with 3D printing / CNC is a plus.
