This is a unique opportunity to join the HP 3D Multi-Jet Fusion WW Business Unit and have full exposure to one of the most exciting technologies and innovative business at HP Inc. You will be part of the HP EMEA’s 3D Printing Business Unit.


This is a technical and customer-facing role that will be responsible for helping drive the adoption of HP 3D printing technologies for various industries. For this role we are seeking leaders with a unique combination of plastics engineering, customer focus, 3d design and manufacturing expertise. The ability to build relationships is extremely important. The ideal candidate is a doer, technically strong and with high customer focus. This role will support the German marketplace and will have extensive experience in automotive design, manufacturing, plastics or 3D printing.



o    Responsible for providing technical solutions to applications that allow rapid commercialization in various markets.

o    Execute design changes as required to optimize for Additive Manufacturing (AM).

o    Perform cost analysis to show ROI on the use of MJF in plastics applications.

o    Participate in WW AE knowledge sharing sessions, as scheduled.

o    Prepare and present regional seminars on AM and MJF.

Education and Experience

o    Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Plastics, Product Design is a must. Master’s degree preferred.

o    Plastic part design experience is preferred.

o    Minimum 10 years experience. Minimum of 5 years design experience.

Knowledge and Skills

o    Ability to effectively communicate solutions and interact with customers at all levels in the organization (German and English).

o    Extensive experience with Additive Manufacturing.

o    CAD experience with CATIA, Solidworks, Siemens NX, or other is required.

o    Experience with a 3D software package is required: Magics, nTopology, Rhino, Grasshopper.

o    Knowledge about customer needs in the other verticals such as automotive and healthcare is a plus.

o    Involvement with professional AM societies with a proven ability to present at seminars and conferences.

o    Demonstrated expertise in at least two of the following areas: Design, Plastics Engineering, 3D, and automotive process qualification.

o    Demonstrated experience in design for additive manufacturing techniques and tools.


Munich, Dusseldorf area preferable but open to any industrial area.
