3D Printed Composites for High Performance Applications

Job summary:

As a Compliance Contractor, you will be directly responsible for leading Fortify’s engineering team through product testing for compliance certification. You will interface with an interdisciplinary team to organize and implement compliance requirements in electrical and mechanical systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Interface with a NRTL to complete a construction review of Flux printers
  • Drive decision making with leadership around product compliance strategy
  • Establish project plans, coordinate, and drive schedule with both internal and external resources.
  • Apply NRTL standards to Fortify product design to create concrete, digestible design requirements for engineers
  • Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to create design solutions to meet compliance requirements
  • Achieve compliance in North America and Europe in 2021 with Flux printers
  • Maintain a strategy for compliance of a modular product line while minimizing overhead
  • Determine product testing plans for in-house development before onsite testing at a NRTL
  • Lead engineering team to modify existing in-house Beta printers for one-off NRTL certification for customer deliveries

 

Required skills:

  • 5+ years of professional experience bringing electromechanical products to market
  • Experience leading compliance programs for industrial equipment
  • Experience interfacing with NRTL’s
  • Experience reading compliance standards and communicating requirements to engineers
  • Strong knowledge of systems engineering
  • Strong communication skills and work ethic
  • Ability to manage product development timelines and risks

 

Highly desirable additional skills:

  • Experience with compliance standards in APAC markets
