As an Inside Sales Representative (ISR) you will manage assigned accounts to drive incremental revenue and utilization of FATHOM technology capacity. You will be a trusted advisor to your customers and strive to become their go-to source of 3D printing and advanced fabrication needs by providing, creating, and sending quotes, and following up to close and process orders. As an ISR you are chiefly responsible for managing 3D printing, CNC machining and urethane casting orders and will balance your time between short-cycle sales activity to close ‘hot’ orders quickly, and longer-term nurturing of customers to set up high-value revenue opportunities – with a strong focus on short-cycle, day-to-day selling.

You will be held to monthly sales commitments determined by management and supported with daily coaching and guidance. Experience in a traditional sales role knowledge of FATHOM’s technology offerings is not required but will be beneficial. The ideal candidate will be eager and highly motivated to learn from colleagues.

Responsibilities //

Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals as defined by management
Conduct warm-call campaigns regularly to ensure consistent pipeline of orders from assigned accounts
Regularly review independent pipeline-building activities with Inside Sales Management
Foster customer relationships; ensure successful transactions with existing FATHOM customers
Vet/filter customer requests for escalation to other FATHOM teams when appropriate
Pre-sales support: answer questions about our services/capabilities via phone, email or face to face, for assigned accounts as well as other accounts as necessary
Process quotes and orders: review and approve CAD files for printing, collect payment and shipping information to submit orders
Liaison to Production Team: communicate with Production regarding orders and status updates
Foster customer relationships: ensure successful transactions with FATHOM customers, and work closely with the sales team on general account maintenance to manage customer expectations
Collaborate with team members for best strategy, cost, mechanical design, manufacturing and quality solutions
Engage in independent learning and training to improve job performance

Required Skills //

Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in engineering or business discipline
1+ years of demonstrated success in a similar role in tech industry
Excellent communication, time management and interpersonal skills
Strong sense of urgency, multi-tasking, and attention to detail
Comfortable working in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment
Self-starter; comfortable working primarily autonomously and independently, with occasional team projects
Eagerness to exceed customer expectations and forge mutually beneficial customer relationships
Preferred experience with Salesforce, CAD and Excel are a plus, but not required
Strong technical knowledge of 3D printing, CNC machining, and urethane casting is highly desirable
