Additive Design and Manufacturing Intern

Danfoss in Minneapolis, MN is looking to fill the role of an Additive Design and Manufacturing Engineering Intern.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Supporting internal customers with technical support in the area of Additive Manufacturing

Usage of CAD and slicing software to aid customers

Participating in various implementation projects for Additive Manufacturing

Operation and maintenance of 3D Printers (plastic)

Supporting Engineering, Marketing, Manufacturing and Procurement with Additive Manufacturing projects

Background & Skills
Must be currently enrolled and pursuing a degree in Engineering with an interest and experience in Additive Manufacturing

Level of Education: Freshman and Sophomores are encouraged to apply

Ability to work 10-20 hours/week in spring/fall semester(s); 40 hours/week in summer

Experience in the use of Additive Manufacturing (plastic and/or metal)

Hands-on experience with the operation and maintenance of 3D Printers

Experience with CAD and/or slicing software

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
