As part of a passionate and accomplished team of Additive Manufacturing specialists, you will directly impact the future of space flight and help us make progress towards our mission of building the road to space through reusable rockets. You will share in the team’s impact on all aspects of Additive Manufacturing, including design, development and production of industry leading Additively Manufactured parts.


Additional responsibilities include:

Diagnose, troubleshoot, conduct root cause investigations and implement corrective actions on metallic additive manufacturing equipment and process related issues
Ensure metallic additive manufacturing processes conform to specifications and company requirements
Improve manufacturing processes, business processes, production planning and implementation of lessons learned
Research, develop and production harden new metallic additive manufacturing technologies
Configuration manage machines, maintenance records, improvements and enhancements
Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators for metallic additive manufacturing related processes
Train teammates on new or updated manufacturing processes, equipment, and procedures

Bachelor’s or higher in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or related field
2+ years of experience in manufacturing
Knowledge of fabrication processes, integration processes, systems engineering practices, test, quality, and/or configuration management systems
Experience authoring and developing manufacturing processes to improve end product
Ability to develop processes compliant to industry quality systems such as AS9100
Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
Hands on experience operating, maintaining, using or modifying tools or manufacturing equipment
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum

Hands on experience with metallic Additive Manufacturing
Hands on experience with casting and machining processes and parts
Proficient with the use of CAD software (CREO preferred)
Hands on experience with machine tool manufacturing and production qualification
Hands on experience with welding processes
Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma training and certification
