Introduction to 3D Printing in Industry

Every month we will spotlight a Wi3DP Seattle Chapter Member’s project or research. This month we are pleased to announce will be presented by Women in 3D Printing Seattle’s own Co-Host Bethany Weeks!

To prepare our members for the global Wi3DP’s first convention, TIPE, in January, Bethany will give a 45 minute presentation on 3D Printing in Industry. Did you know “3D printing”, or as it’s refered to in the industry as “Additive Manufacturing”, is actually a catch-all for a variety of different styles of technology? Each one provides their own unique challenges and benefits. Bethany will walk you through the most commonly used and some of the more obscure technology in her presentation.

Our Monthly Project Chats will be about 45 minutes of presentation with the remaining time allotted for questions. Due to the length and amount of material, the presentation will begin promptly at 6:30 pm. Feel free to sign on a little early to “grab a good seat.”

Note: A link to the Google Meet will only be emailed out to ticket holders.

About Women in 3D Printing

Join local Women in 3D Printing Seattle Ambassadors, Bethany Weeks and Amrita Basu, every month for an educational and fun evening that frames itself around 3D printing. RSVP is free but required in order to attend our events.

This is a meetup series for 3D printing enthusiasts to meet and discuss with new faces and 3D printing veterans. Our events are always open to all gender identities.

We hope to see many of you during these happy hour events every month and look forward to connecting!

Be sure to look for the Women in 3D Printing sign.
