  1. Hello!
I’m thrilled to find your blog. Yes, women need the attention, for sure.

I’ve been a painter for over 30 years and am now using my paintings for texture on shapes designed in Cinema 4D and 3D printed by Off Load in Canada and, then, combined with welded steel to make sculpture. On my Website, you’ll see how I’m using the “Venus” shape with my diptychs and triptychs. It was such an obvious evolution to begin 3D printing the “Venus” shape. I’m in the process of redoing my Website and including my 3D printed sculptures. I’m happy to send you an image.

    Thanks, again, for your blog!

    Warm regards,
    Kim Thoman

  2. Great blog. I love to hear about women in technology. I am a sculptor/writer/speaker and just finished a book titled 3D Technology in Fine Art and Craft: Exploring 3D Printing, Scanning, Sculpting and Milling- Focal Press fall 2015. I also create regular podcasts on the topic. I offer them for bloggers to use on their blogs. The last two have to deal with the book. I will be featuring new artists each month the press releases for the first two can be found at http://digitalsculpting.net/2015/02/new-art-and-technology-podcast-joshua-harker/ http://digitalsculpting.net/2015/01/press-release-fine-art-and-3d-technology-podcast-and-a-new-book/ If you send me your e mail I’ll contact you each month when the new videos come out.

Of course not all of the podcasts are with women, but they are created by a woman, with a woman as the host of the show. I Look forward to further contact.
